No two people see eye to eye on every single thing. God made us all with loving care and with many fine details then broke the mold. Each person serves God’s Own purpose. It is reasonable to know there will be many differences of opinion even when both people are right.
It is like two people explaining how an elephant looks. One is describing in detail the elephant’s foot and is exactly right. The other explains in detail the trunk and is exactly right. The two correct opinions differ but it’s nothing to quarrel over. Instead, it’s an opportunity to get more information to better understand the whole picture.
Arguments sometimes happen, especially when one person is misinformed but winning an argument doesn’t mean anything has actually been won. What did the argument do to enhance a testimony or to encourage the other person? To kindly agree to disagree quenches heated discussions before allowing them to start. It saves friendships and reputations. God has His own timing, situations and ways of clearing up misunderstandings and nobody gets hurt.
Psalm 37:7-9
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
