It’s amazing how much we can see at one time from an airplane.  What is the most amazing thing is God sees everything at all times.  He is everywhere.  He knows everything.  He loves everybody enough to give His life.

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, Who always was, and Who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

When We Do Not See God’s Answer

When We Do Not See God’s Answer

Jones path 3

It’s exciting to pray for something and within hours we see results of prayer.  When we wait and there seems to be no answer we can still rejoice because God is working behind the scenes.  Many times God will lead us to the path to answered prayer.  As we walk the path there will be steep rough places in our walk.  Other times will be peaceful and smooth.  When the answer lies ahead we are to never give up.  As our endurance is being developed we can know that when God walks us to the answer it will be far more beautiful than anything imagined.

Hebrews 10:36

Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.

When Jesus is in our lives the world notices a difference. There is a genuine love for our Lord and for others. The world watches as we enjoy blessings from God. The world watches even more as trials come our way. Are we pleasant toward others with an unchanging attitude or do we go into seclusion and pout? The true test of our witness is how we present ourselves during the worst situations. Jesus is Lord every day and in all things. How we represent Him at all times could change the life of an unsaved person.
1 Peter 1:7
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Sometimes the things we pray for the hardest are the things that take the longest to see answers from God.  Nothing is too hard for God.  He says that many times in the Bible.

The most precious answers are the ones we patiently wait for.  God is working out many details for our good.  It takes time to soften hearts, arrange circumstances and prepare us to receive greater than what we are expecting.

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

When Words Don’t Happen

When Words Don’t Happen

There are times when we are not at peace.  Things seem to be going right yet our hearts are troubled.  When we pray sometimes we don’t know what to say because we can’t see why our hearts are in turmoil.  Many times a person we love, a coworker, Church sister or brother or maybe an acquaintance is going through some hardships.  They may have mentioned something in passing and their situation was placed on our hearts for that moment.  As time passes by, their situation which was on our hearts start to penetrate deeply into our hearts.  That creates a stirring in our hearts, especially when we don’t immediately recall the conversation.   When we start to pray, not knowing exactly what to pray for, we have the Holy Spirit who will actually do the praying for us.  The peace that passes all understanding happens once God reveals why our hearts are troubled.  We can pray obediently for the things God puts on our hearts and experience Joy because God is at work.

Romans 8:26

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
