God makes no mistakes. All people have a purpose. We are not what we go through in life. We are people made in God’s image. We are a forgiven people. We are loved.
Genesis 1:27
So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.

An attitude of serving others should be a way of life to one who loves Jesus Christ. To hold a door open for an elderly person or to smile and say hello to one who seems so all alone takes no effort. It doesn’t cost even one red cent to display an attitude of kindness.
The rewards are great for those who serve. Imagine the glory Jesus gets for each person who will do a kindness for a person who does not like them. Jesus gave His life for all people, no matter how deep the sin.
This is reason to shout. Jesus Saves.
Matthew 20:28
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many.

There are times when people wonder why God does not act in certain situations. As things come up in life that are difficult or hurtful the first thing a lot of people do is call a friend and complain. Plans are made to pay back somebody for treating them wrong or punish them by never speaking again.
All these efforts may help for the moment but it solves nothing. Instead of determining methods of defense against the wrong that was done, God is waiting to be called upon as the offense. He is the Victor. He has won all battles. He waits for the situations to be brought to Him. It is after that God will bring the results.
Isaiah 30:18
So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him
so He can show you His love and compassion.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
Blessed are those who wait for His help.

Some things seem to take forever to work out. Many times our most urgent prayer requests are the ones that are the last to be answered. Other requests that aren’t so important to us are answered in a very short time.
It could very well be that the things that are the most important are the things we cling to and are too important to let go. In some cases, without realizing it, God is second place to the importance of that particular request.
It’s all about God and His purpose for our lives. He will grant our heart’s desires in His timing and His way. If He is second place to the importance of a particular desire He will wait for us to move over to allow Him to work. A lot of times the biggest obstacle is our own desires that push God aside.
When we allow God to work in a situation, even if it takes what seems like a life time, we can expect far more than our biggest dreams.
An example of His exceeding abundance is with Samson. His parents waited a long time and still didn’t have a child. When God’s timing was right, the parents were visited by an angel of the Lord to announce Samson. Heaven intervened to present them with a child. God can do the same for us even in our most critical situations. A lot of time may pass but God has not forgotten. His answer in due time will be too amazing for human words.
Judges 13:17-18
Then Manoah asked the angel of the Lord, “What is your name? For when all this comes true, we want to honor you.”
“Why do you ask my name?” the angel of the Lord replied. “It is too wonderful for you to understand.”
