Harvest Time Comes

Just as surely as a farmer plants a crop of corn, he will reap corn at the proper time.  It’s the same with any crop.  What is planted will grow, it will mature then it will be ready to gather and enjoy.

There is a spiritual harvest.  People after their own desires will plant ideas that manipulate people into bringing their focus to pleasing those people.  Many are lead to believe they are giving time, talent and tithes to God when really the offerings are used to puff up those people.  Others give support to further the gospel of Jesus Christ where many get saved as a result.

What ever is planted and what ever the motive will be what is harvested.

Galatians 6:7-8

Don’t be misled; remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it: a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows! If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him.
