Belief Hindered

It happens to me.  It happens to you.  It happens all the time.  We take a situation to God and when we walk away it’s still stuck on our back.  We believe but can’t forget about it.  The things that matter the most are the ones that are the hardest to forget.

There is good news.  There are no limits to how many times we can come to the cross.  There are no size limitations on the importance of our prayers.  There are no rules that tell us we cannot ask for additional grace to enable us to give these situations to God.  When we look at the life of Jesus Christ and how smoothly things worked out at His command we can be encouraged.  Jesus is Lord of all things and His Name will be glorified.  We do not have to carry the burden of knowing how something will work out.

Mark 11:22-23

Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.  I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
