There are situations that come up in life that challenge our trust to the maximum. Some trials are so complex that it would take an entire book to explain the details. Even then, it solves nothing to talk about it.
It takes an act of God to handle certain problems because they are beyond anything a human can resolve. There are people faced with evictions where there is no longer an income and people are not hiring. Other people are walking through certain physical ailments where there are no human cures. Still others are dependent on a change of heart from one in authority yet he has a heart of stone.
Sometimes problems are so big that a truck load of words just barely explain the hurts and frustrations. It’s an even bigger challenge to our faith when God’s answer is only two words. Yes, two words. How can that be when our problems are so complex and it takes many words to explain and God’s answer is only two words? TRUST ME
God steps in when we totally give up and give everything to him. Trust me means an opportunity to stretch and growth faith. Prayer opens the floodgates of heaven and God’s attention is directed to the solution to the situation. We may not see immediate results because God is in the business to send solutions rather than a disappearance of the problem.
Yes, it’s ok to ask God to help us believe more. Yes, He will grant us peace. God Who is full of love and grace is eager to share additional grace.
Does this mean we have done something wrong? Not at all. It’s an opportunity for us to show up in His court with praise so He can show out. God will be glorified in all things.
Mark 9:23-24
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
