When we ask God to make us a great musician He leads us to a situation where we labor in practices. We miss note after note and we get turned down time and again for playing opportunities. When this happens we wait and follow the last instructions given by God.
When we ask God to make us a great physician He leads us to situations where we have to work hard to earn money for college. After that we endure intense professors and numerous hours of study. Once graduating we knock on door after door of possible jobs and get turned down. When this happens we wait and follow the last instructions given by God.
When we ask God to grant out heart’s desires He leads us to a path in life that requires that we grow into the size we need to be in order to fit greater than our desires.
Many times we find light by going through heat or water by going through storms. In order for God to supply His best for us it’s important that we prepare to receive it. His timing is never late. Our clocks may say too late or our calendars may indicate time has come and gone but it’s never too late when trusting God. The longer we wait the more time He has to pack blessings into His answers to us.
Galatians 6:9 New Living Translation
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
