There are no words to describe the true greatness of God.  He created all things big and small.  He has a purpose for all things.

The moon is an example of one of God’s most noticed creations.  Though a telescope there are numerous craters that can be seen.  Each crater represents the bangs, dents, dings and total abuse that comes from various flying space objects.  Yet the moon continues to do its job.

It creates a gravitational pull that causes the ocean tides and waves.  It helps to make seasons and it’s always on time because it is always in place.  However it gets its light from the reflection of the sun.  While so many things depend on the moon, it depends on the sun for light.  Both the moon and sun are controlled by God Himself.

Considering the brilliance of the moon at night it’s a great comfort to know that the Most High created this and all things.  The most peaceful thing one can experience is the love of God Who created all things for His glory and humans to enjoy.  He Who is higher than any sun or moon demonstrates His greatest love through Jesus Christ.
