God’s Presence In All Things

God is the Most High.  He sits on the throne of heaven and knows all things.  When we think of God in all His majesty and glory it’s difficult to realize that one day we will be with Him.  A day is coming when we will face Him and bow to Him.  Jesus will live among us and a new heaven and earth will be created.  Its beauty is beyond what any human can imagine.  All this is truth but what about the here and now?

What about the times our spirits are so low we can’t imagine ever smiling again?  There are times God seems so far away and we want a sign that He is with us.  We can always find comfort in His word and He assures us He is with us at all times.  Sometimes when we cannot feel His presence beside us or around us are the times He is under us lifting us to safety.  Other times when things seem so dark and there is no glimpse of a ray of light He has both hands cupped around us for protection.  He is with us through all storms and during those times we cannot rely on our feelings but the fact He never leaves us.  God is omnipresent.  He can accomplish all things, even to be in two places at one time.  He loves us that much.

Isaiah 57:15 New International Version (NIV)

For this is what the high and exalted One says—He who lives forever, Whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
