There are things we buy at the store that must be assembled.  However if there is no instruction sheet it will be difficult to include every step. 

What if a first grade student was handed a college level chemistry book and asked to mix a formula?  The child may read very well but not to the level needed to create the formula correctly.

From a spiritual stand point it works the same.  We may have knowledge of many things but without the wisdom to use the knowledge properly things will be overlooked.  If love is the ingredient left out we are nothing more than a book of rules.

Seeking God through His word grows wisdom.  Time in prayer grows our relationship with God.  His ways are higher than our ways.  Learning His ways then applying what we have learned will accomplish a lot for His purpose.

Ephesians 1:16-18

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called—His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.
