When situations become out of control we can count on God Who is in control of all things. The best solutions come from God.
Many times people try to solve things every humanly way possible only to find that some things are totally out of the reach of human control.
The apostles faced an impossible situation while in a boat during a fierce storm. There was no way they could stop the storm and they were in trouble. They learned that God’s answer was much bigger than the storm. The answer was a heavenly answer where Jesus came to them on the water.
When we trust God in a situation that is impossible for us we can expect an answer that is greater than the impossibility we face. Even the apostles were afraid at first when Jesus appeared to them walking on the water. They were unable to put into human terms God’s heavenly answer. This will happen for us too. God wraps Himself in the unexpected so we can know His greatness and love.
Matthew 14:24-27
Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw Him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost?”
But Jesus spoke to them and once. “Don’t be afraid,” He said. “Take courage. I am here:”
