A grateful heart is pleasing to our Lord.  Jesus is Lord in all things.  Many times blessings are ours that we know nothing about. 

There are times when things just are not falling into place for us but the things we do not see are worth the challenge.

While we sleep peacefully a soldier is in full uniform risking his life for our freedom.  While we enjoy family and friends an elderly lady is up all night praying for things to work out for us.  While we sin and fall short of the glory of God Jesus gave His life for our eternal life.

There are times we may feel all alone in a situation or like nobody notices or even cares but they do. Sometimes the people we love most totally ignore us but the blessings unseen are a gift from the heart of our Lord. 

There is alway reason to be thankful.  Today is the day to be a joy in the heart of someone.  We never know when we are the ones God had in mind to bless another person.

Psalm 50:23  New Living Translation

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors Me.  If you keep to My path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.
